In The Fourth Quarter of 2024, BennittØ and Kai made the strategic decision to rebrand and embark on a solo careers, marking their next chapter of their artistic evolution individually. This move was not just a redefinition of their image but a bold step into a new era of musical exploration, characterized by a blend of soulful melodies, powerful lyrics, and innovative beats that resonate with diverse audiences. The transition was not a breakup, but an evolution. They continue to collaborate on music projects, reflecting a lasting creative bond and mutual respect for one another’s growth.
Now operating as a solo artist under BennittØ Music, BennittØ is forging a bold new chapter. His sound is a fusion of Afro-pop, soul, R&B, and contemporary African rhythms—infused with personal storytelling, emotional depth, and a powerful voice that speaks to the heart of a generation.
BennittØ (known as Ben) first rose to prominence as one half of BenKai, a dynamic boy band formed alongside close friend and fellow artist King David Kai (known as Kai). Together, they blended their talents to create a unique sound that captured the attention of fans across the country & Beyond. As BenKai, the duo released several notable tracks, building a loyal following and making their mark as one of Kenya’s most promising acts.
